Color us not at all surprised.

iNDIANAPOLIS - U.S. Rep. Mike Pence has ruled out a run for national office and will tour the state in the next few months, multiple informed and relievable sources tell Howey Politics Indiana.

The sources say that Pence has not made a final decision about a run for governor, keeping open the option of running for reelection in the 6th CD. State law prohibits Pence from raising money in a gubernatorial race until the Indiana General Assembly’s sine die on April 30.

However, Pence gave up the No. 3 position in the Indiana House in November. Developing ….

Is anyone else starting to get Mike Pence fatigue?  We’re starting to feel like this is Lebron James all over again.  We still think Congressman Pence will announce he is planning to take his talents to the Statehouse in Indianapolis.

Count me in as being very fatigued at the prospect of Mike Pence running for anything. This empty suit has never run anything except a radio show and a congressional staff, and yet the waters are parting for him to run our state government enterprise? This is one of our GOP leaders who constantly bemoan the budget crisis and defecit yet whose fiscal remedies refuse to even look at any of our entitlement programs or the defense industry. As Mike Pence continues to “pray” for guidance on what office to seek, let’s hope that the guidance he receives comes in the form of a calculator, some logic, and common sense.

    Count me in. I’m excited!

National conventional wisdom that waves parted for Cong. Pence when Sen. Bayh announced he wouldn’t run for governor are overblown; Pence already was in a position of strength and Bayh never wanted it to begin with.

Mike’s values and aptitude were a glove-like fit for the conservative congressional stage in D.C., and there is plenty of time to adapt to a statewide environment while Governor Daniels and Republican legislative majorities work through the Hoosier reform agenda.

I had to check the URL to make sure that I was on the right blog.

Fatigue…Nope, not yet, it would lhave been more fun if Evan had run. That would have been a great race. At least he can complete a full sentance when he speaks, thats a good thing for a leader to do.

    • Bleeding Blue, have you not figured out that we clearly are not what you imagined us to be? That’s the second time you’ve said that in the last few weeks. At some point, you might have to change your image of this blog.

Too bad you can’t spell sentence. j/k
    Go Pence!
