Since we are in an introductory mood around here, I thought I may as well join in on the fun.
Over the next few days, you’ll meet my WSP brethren and and their love for policy, good government and the like.
I, on the other hand, am what one might call a political hack. I’m the one that hangs around bars hoping for political tidbits. Family functions are side-tracked by my endless desire for political discussion. And my off-year mood can be described by one word: Restless.
I’m betting that since you are here, this sounds all too familiar.
So while my colleagues highlight the good and bad in public policy, I’ll be more concerned with the political implications and the joys of Party politics. Pull up a chair and join the conversation. We may not have an election for 417 days (that’s until the 2010 Primary–not that anyone is counting), but there is plenty going on behind the scenes that will shape it.
